Here at Katharine House Hospice, our aim is to enable our patients and those close to them to live life as fully as possible and make the most of the time that they have. We offer a welcoming, warm and safe environment, where hope is kept alive and laughter is often heard.
We provide a range of services which offer holistic care and support for people with incurable illnesses across Stafford and surrounding areas.
Many people believe that we treat cancer patients only, however we care for people with a range of conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, end-stage Renal failure and cancer.
From our wellbeing services and our 8-bed In-Patient Unit, to care “At Home”, carer support and the Lymphoedema Clinic, our aim is to enable patients to live their lives as fully and as comfortably as possible whilst providing support to their families/carers.
All of our services are offered free of charge. We are a charity and we rely on the kindness and generosity of the local community to help generate 2/3rds of the funds needed (almost £4m each year) to continue our care.
