With the announcement that non-essential shops (including charity shops) could re-open from the 15th June, we would like to outline our plans for the re-opening of our charity shops. We will stagger the re-opening of the shops, starting with the larger shops first as we believe it will be easier to implement social distancing measures and accept donations safely in these shops.

The re-opening of our shops will take time and we are consulting with our staff to ensure their safety is the priority. The government have given guidelines to ensure shops can re-open Covid-19 secure. We will be introducing new systems in our shops including controlled customer entry, hygiene screens at the till point, sanitizer stations and providing face coverings for our teams. In-store there will be one way systems for the customers

Our plan is to open The Big Shop (Warehouse Stafford) and Norton Bridge shops on the 15th June.

Our next two shops to open will be The Big Shop Hanley and The Big Shop Cannock. If all goes well these could open towards the end of June. Whilst we do not know when all of our shops will be open again it is likely to be at least a couple of months. We will keep our website up to date on which shops are open and where the public can donate to
