Having just recently launched our 2017 Light up a Life appeal, we are excited to see people’s dedications start to arrive at the hospice.
This is such a special of the year when many of our supporters’ thoughts are turning to the festive season and they are thinking first of the people whose absence will be so keenly felt.
We are really looking forward to gathering the names of all these special people, entering them into our book of lights and placing a light for each of them on our tree.
Then, on Sunday 10th December, it will be a really poignant moment when we hold our service and switch all the lights on.
This year, we are so grateful that Paula Kerr has kindly shared the story of her son Tommy’s time at the hospice last Christmas, so that people can fully appreciate the vital care which supporters of the hospice allow us to provide. You can watch Paula’s video at https://youtu.be/_JBrFWNpSdc.
You can dedicate a light at https://www.khhospice.org.uk/product/light-life-2017, by calling fundraising on 01785 270808 or pick up a form from the hospice reception.
