Medical Director and Consultant in Palliative Medicine
Caroline Bruckner-Holt studied Medicine at the Royal Free and University College Medical School in London and undertook her junior doctor posts at hospitals within the West Midlands. Whilst undertaking her specialist training in Palliative Medicine she completed a Masters in Palliative Medicine at Bristol University, which included research into Quality of Life in patients with Motor Neurone Disease before and after feeding tube insertion.
She commenced her role as a consultant at Katharine House Hospice in 2016 and became the Medical Director in 2018. Alongside her work at the hospice, she also undertakes sessions with the Specialist Palliative Care Team at University Hospitals of North Midlands and helps manage Specialist Palliative Care inpatient beds on Ward 12 at County Hospital.
Caroline lives in Stafford and when not working spends time with her family, especially her three young boys, supporting them at all their sports events and fixtures.
