We are delighted to have secured 10 charity places for the Ironman 70.3 Staffordshire, taking place at Shugborough on 12th June 2016.
The event, which sold out for general sale shortly after it was launched, consists of a 1.2-mile swim in Chasewater reservoir and a 56-mile bike course through the stunning countryside outside Lichfield, Burton-upon-Trent, and across Cannock Chase area of outstanding natural beauty. The 13.1-mile run will start and finish at the historic Shugborough country estate, the former ancestral home of Lord Lichfield, a renowned royal photographer and cousin of Queen Elizabeth II.
We are really excited that The Rotary Club have chosen to support us by offering 10 charity places for this highly sought-after event and we invite hospice supporters to sign up now to raise vital funds for the hospice. You could enter as an individual or as a relay team, whatever suits you! There is a minimum fundraising target, of which the hospice will receive a large percentage, and participants will get their entry fee refunded if they achieve their minimum fundraising target.
We urge interested parties to sign up quickly as places are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
