The role
As our Outpatient Nurse, you’ll be working in our new Therapy and Wellbeing Centre where we now run an Outpatient service where patients can be seen by a variety of multi-disciplinary team members. You will form part of a team comprising of Outpatient Lead, Outpatient Deputy Lead, Staff Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Volunteers who will be responsible for the delivery of high quality, patient-centred, holistic care to patients, carers, and their families.

- Delivering excellent care
Ensuring our patients and their families receive an outstanding, caring service, professionally delivered within a safe environment. - Managing patient information
Ensuring that the assessment and discharge of patients is safe and effective and transfer documentation is of an agreed standard.
You’ll be working Monday to Friday, although flexibility to work Bank Holidays and weekends will be needed.

Skills and experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- Current NMC registration, with a minimum of 6 months post-registration experience desirable
- Education to at least degree level or equivalent
- Experience in providing palliative or End of Life care
- Experience with or an interest in organ failure would be an advantage, but is not essential for the role
Please note that an enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
